The official Ligue 1 match sheet identifies PSG–OL as the Matchday 8 fixture with match ID 73890. Paris Saint-Germain’s rescheduling announcement confirms that the game will take place at Parc des Princes on Monday evening. These current details replace the earlier Sunday listing.

Why the kickoff changed

The match was first scheduled for Sunday, October 25, at 8:45 p.m. Paris time. The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) later said it had taken note of an order from the Paris Police Prefecture prohibiting the game from taking place that Sunday. In agreement with Ligue 1+, the league moved the fixture to Monday, October 26, at 8:30 p.m. The LFP’s official schedule-change notice confirms the order and new date. It does not give additional details about the order, so no further explanation should be assumed.

The first Matchday 8 television program and older fixture listings still show the original Sunday slot. Those listings were published before the LFP’s later notice and are superseded for this match. For travel, ticket planning, or viewing, use the Monday schedule published by the league and PSG.

Paris kickoff time and UTC conversion

Paris will be on Central European Time (CET, UTC+01:00) on Monday, October 26. France’s seasonal clock change falls on the last Sunday in October; the match is scheduled for the following day, after the move from summer time to standard time. The French government’s daylight-saving information describes the seasonal change dates. The confirmed 8:30 p.m. Paris kickoff is equivalent to 19:30 UTC on Monday, October 26. The date does not change in this conversion. Readers elsewhere should convert from the stated UTC time using the offset in effect in their own location on that date rather than relying on a standing offset.

The earlier Sunday kickoff was listed as 8:45 p.m. Paris time, or 19:45 UTC. That time is no longer the scheduled start. The later Monday time is 15 minutes earlier by the clock in Paris and 15 minutes earlier in UTC as well. The distinction matters for calendars and broadcast reminders that may still carry the original Sunday entry.

Where to watch PSG vs. Lyon in France

For viewers in France, the LFP’s current viewing guide lists the match on Ligue 1+ 2 at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, October 26. The league’s rescheduling notice also says the match will be shown live on Ligue 1+. Check the official PSG–OL viewing guide close to kickoff in case the platform updates its channel or schedule information.

This is the verified French broadcast listing; it does not establish availability in other countries. Viewers outside France can consult the LFP’s international broadcaster directory and their local licensed provider. Rights, streaming access, and channel numbers vary by territory, so the French channel listing should not be treated as a worldwide option.

Latest team news: absences and suspension

The LFP’s latest Matchday 8 probable-lineup preview was published on October 24. It is a pre-match assessment, not an official team-sheet release. The preview lists Nuno Mendes, Marquinhos, Ousmane Dembélé, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as PSG absences, and notes a return for Senny Mayulu. It does not provide a confirmed return date for the players listed as absent, and the absence labels should not be expanded into injury diagnoses without a club statement.

For Lyon, the same preview lists Openda, Nakamura, Tagliafico, and Ouedraogo as absent, and marks Keito Nakamura as suspended. Pavel Šulc and Kango are listed as uncertain. The preview’s projected starting lineups are estimates; neither club’s final starting XI should be treated as confirmed until the official teams are published near kickoff. The LFP’s Matchday 8 probable-lineup article is the source for this snapshot, and a later club update could change availability.

The previous article’s earlier absence list has therefore been refreshed to reflect the league’s newer preview. It remains useful to distinguish a listed absence from a confirmed reason: the preview does not explain every player’s status or give a complete medical report. Check PSG and Lyon’s official channels, then the league match sheet, for any further announcement and the definitive team sheets.

Result status and what to check before kickoff

As of this October 25 update, PSG vs. Lyon is still scheduled for Monday, October 26, so there is no match result to report. The official match sheet is the appropriate place to check the score after play begins. It can also help confirm the fixture identity if search results or calendars continue to show the old Sunday time.

• Use Monday, October 26, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. in Paris, CET (UTC+01:00), equivalent to 19:30 UTC.
• The venue is Parc des Princes in Paris.
• The French broadcast guide currently lists Ligue 1+ 2.
• Treat the LFP preview’s absences, return, suspension, and uncertainties as pre-match information, not a final team sheet.
• Check official club channels and the match sheet close to kickoff for last-minute updates and confirmed lineups.

PSG vs. Olympique Lyonnais remains a Ligue 1 Matchday 8 fixture, but the original Sunday, October 25 schedule has been superseded. The confirmed listing is Monday, October 26, at 8:30 p.m. Paris time (CET, UTC+01:00), with French coverage on Ligue 1+ 2. Team availability may still be updated before the game, and the result should be added only after the match has been played.
