2. Check the mouse connection and peripheral software

Reseat the mouse cable or wireless receiver, then try a different USB port directly on the PC. 4. Lower League’s video settings one at a time

In-game, press Esc and open Video. Riot’s current League-specific guidance identifies Character Quality, Environment Quality, Effects Quality, Shadows, Anti-Aliasing, Wait for Vertical Sync, and Frame Rate Cap as settings to test. Start by reducing quality and turning off Shadows and Anti-Aliasing, then repeat the same camera movement.

Next, compare Wait for Vertical Sync on and off. Riot says disabling VSync may improve performance or reduce input delay on some systems, but it can also cause visible screen tearing. Keep whichever option works better on your monitor. Try a frame-rate cap your PC can sustain consistently; do not assume that setting a cap to your monitor’s maximum refresh rate will stabilize every system. 5. Temporarily disable overlays and close unused apps
