This Nashville fixture is the second meeting in the teams’ October series, not the first. USA won the opener in Mansfield, Texas, on October 17, 36–27, after leading 26–10 at halftime. That score belongs to the Texas match; it is not a result for the Nashville game. The first test gives Italy a chance to respond in the rematch, while the Eagles will try to carry their series lead into the home doubleheader.
The assigned referee is Zoe Naude of South Africa. World Rugby also lists Emma Gallagher and Kristine Lovatt as assistant referees, Cam Russell as television match official, and Derek Summers as foul-play review officer. These officials and the match venue are shown on the World Rugby appointments page.
No. At the time this preview was prepared, the Nashville kickoff was still in the future, so there is no verified final result to report. Once the match is played, use the official World Rugby match center for the score, timeline, and statistics. Keep the two fixtures straight when searching: the October 17 Texas result was USA 36, Italy 27; the Nashville result will be a separate entry after full time.
