Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace: October 31 Kickoff, Team News and How to Watch

Tottenham Hotspur host Crystal Palace on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in London (GMT, UTC+00:00), or 17:30 UTC. The Premier League Matchweek 9 fixture is scheduled for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London. Sky Sports has the live UK television rights for this match, according to the Premier League's amended October schedule. The kickoff time was moved to the evening television slot, so an older schedule showing 3:00 p.m. should not be used for travel or viewing plans.

This guide focuses on the decisions supporters actually need to make: whether to attend or watch remotely, where to get reliable lineup information, and which ticket and transport options involve extra costs or restrictions. Details were checked against official league and club information on October 29, 2026. As with any upcoming fixture, the schedule and availability should be checked again before matchday.

Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace: confirmed fixture information

The Premier League's October and November fixture amendment notice explicitly lists the meeting at 17:30 on October 31 and explains that UK fixture times from October 25 onward are GMT. Tottenham's own October fixture-change announcement independently confirms the 5:30 p.m. UK kickoff and Sky Sports selection.

Britain switched from British Summer Time to Greenwich Mean Time on October 25, 2026. This is why a calendar entry for October 31 must use GMT (UTC+00:00), not BST (UTC+01:00). The scheduled match therefore begins at 17:30 UTC on the same date, with no one-hour difference between London and UTC.

How to watch or follow the match

Live television or online score coverage?

For viewers in the United Kingdom who want the full match live, the verified television option is Sky Sports. Check Sky's current subscription, streaming access, and program listings before paying: a general sports package or a particular streaming plan should not be assumed to include every channel. The Premier League's match listings also identify NBC and Universo coverage for viewers in the United States, but broadcast availability and authentication depend on the viewer's market and television provider. These are territory-specific arrangements, not worldwide streaming links.

Supporters who cannot access a legitimate live broadcast can use the Premier League match center for the fixture schedule, match information and, when published, live match data. Crystal Palace also maintains an official match page. Score updates are a practical free alternative for following the result, but they are not a substitute for live video or a guarantee of play-by-play audio commentary.

For someone choosing between television and a score service, the trade-off is straightforward: a paid broadcast shows positioning, substitutions and momentum as they happen, while the official match center is better for quickly checking confirmed events without buying a television package. Regional rights vary, so international readers should use their local licensed broadcaster's listings rather than assuming that the UK broadcaster works abroad.

Team news, probable lineups and what remains uncertain

As of this October 29 check, an officially confirmed starting XI for either team has not been established. The teams' final selections will be known closer to kickoff. Do not treat projected formations or a lineup taken from a previous game as the confirmed October 31 selection. Injury availability, suspensions and late fitness decisions also need to be checked against the clubs' latest press conferences or matchday updates.

The safest approach is to follow Tottenham's official first-team fixtures and match center and the corresponding Crystal Palace page. Once lineups are posted, compare them with earlier previews rather than assuming a reported doubt became a confirmed absence. A player being available to train does not necessarily mean that player will start.

On the field, there are three useful questions to assess once the teams are named: which side has the stronger defensive coverage in wide areas, which midfield can advance the ball under pressure, and how each team protects against counterattacks after losing possession. These are ways to evaluate the matchup, not predictions of a specific formation or final score. Substitutes and the balance of the starting midfield may matter as much as any individual attacking name.

There is recent head-to-head context, but it should not replace current squad news. In the previous Premier League meeting at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Crystal Palace won 3–1 on March 5, 2026, as recorded in the Premier League's match report. That result is historical; it does not establish the outcome, lineup or tactical plan for October 31.

Attending in person: ticket routes compared

Spurs list Crystal Palace as a Category B home fixture for ticket sales. Their official home-ticket page says Crystal Palace tickets are available through the club's ticketing arrangements, with access for eligible One Hotspur supporters and resale seats on Ticket Exchange. It does not mean every seating section is available at every price. Inventory changes, and an offered seat must be checked within the club's authenticated ticketing system.

The club's Ticket Exchange rules explain that eligible season-ticket holders can list seats they cannot use and One Hotspur members can purchase listed places, subject to the sale window. Seats may appear until matchday; a listing is not guaranteed. The official premium hospitality page for Crystal Palace provides a separate route for supporters deliberately seeking additional services. Check the final amount and package contents rather than comparing a suite price directly with a standard match ticket.

If cost is the priority, start with normal club ticketing and Ticket Exchange access. If convenience and hospitality services are the priority, compare the premium packages by actual benefits and final price. Avoid unofficial resale claims that do not provide a verifiable admission route through the club.

Getting to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The stadium's official travel guidance recommends public transportation and warns that there is no public parking at or around the venue for event attendees. The most useful station depends on where you start and how far you prefer to walk:

• White Hart Lane: approximately five minutes on foot; convenient if your rail service calls there.
• Northumberland Park: approximately 10 minutes on foot; another relatively short approach.
• Tottenham Hale: approximately 25 minutes on foot; useful for Victoria line and Greater Anglia connections.
• Seven Sisters: approximately 30 minutes on foot; a longer walk with Underground connections.

Walking estimates are approximate and do not include station queues or additional time needed at stadium security. The club's visiting-supporter information also explains station access and matchday wayfinding. If traveling with accessibility needs, use the club's accessibility and station information rather than relying only on the shortest listed walk.

Public transportation is generally the practical choice because nearby roads are restricted before and after matches. A direct train to the closest stop may reduce walking, while a route through a more distant station may be easier if it avoids an inconvenient connection. Check current services and disruptions through the official transport operator before leaving, and allow extra time after full-time for crowd-management queues.
