Sevilla FC vs Deportivo Alavés: Kickoff, Team News and How to Follow

Sevilla FC host Deportivo Alavés on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán in Seville. The scheduled kickoff is 9:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET, UTC+01:00), or 20:00 UTC. LaLiga’s English fixture listing displays 20:00, while its Spanish schedule and both clubs’ notices give 21:00 for the match in Spain. The event time in UTC and the venue’s CET time refer to the same scheduled kickoff. Before choosing a stream or setting a reminder, use the time zone printed with the listing rather than treating 20:00 as Seville’s local time.

What time is the match, and where is it played?

LaLiga’s English-language Matchday 12 listing shows 20:00. The league’s Spanish match page and the official Sevilla and Alavés notices list 21:00. The event schedule gives 20:00 UTC; Seville is on CET, UTC+01:00, on November 6, so local kickoff is one hour later. Spain’s 2026 daylight-saving period ended on October 25, when clocks returned from summer time to standard time. This avoids the common one-hour error that can happen when a fixture page shows an unlabelled time. Check the LaLiga match page, the league’s Matchday 12 schedule, and the Sevilla fixture notice for any later change. The official European calendar lists October 25 as the 2026 summer-time change date; see the Spanish Official Gazette notice.

What team news is confirmed?

Sevilla’s latest official training report ahead of the fixture said Peque had a left hamstring injury and was awaiting further evaluation. The same report said Kike Salas and Isaac Romero worked separately in the gym. It did not label those two players injured or confirm whether either would be available against Alavés. Treat these as training and medical updates, not as a final matchday availability list.

Neither side’s starting lineup was confirmed in the pre-match information checked for this preview. Sevilla’s recent 24-player squad for its visit to Getafe included Kike Salas, Peque, and Isaac Romero, but that earlier list does not establish who will be selected for Matchday 12. Alavés’ official ticket notice confirms the away fixture but does not provide a matchday squad or injury list. Check the clubs’ official channels and LaLiga match page near kickoff for confirmed starters and substitutes. A player missing from a training report or an earlier squad should not automatically be described as suspended or ruled out.

How do the teams enter Matchday 12?

LaLiga’s match page shows both clubs after 11 league games: Sevilla are sixth with 17 points, while Alavés are 11th with 12. Sevilla’s record is five wins, two draws, and four losses, with 17 goals scored and 19 conceded. Alavés have three wins, three draws, and five losses, scoring 15 and conceding 17. These are the table figures published before the fixture; the standings can change after the rest of Matchday 12 is played.

Their most recent league results provide immediate context. Sevilla lost 3–1 away to Getafe on November 1, and Alavés lost 6–1 away to Barcelona on October 31. Both will be looking to respond, but one result does not determine the next. Sevilla have the home setting and a five-point advantage in the pre-match table; Alavés have an opportunity to close that gap with a result. Those are the stakes, not a forecast.

At a basic level, watch how each side handles the first phase after losing possession. Sevilla have conceded more goals than they have scored through 11 rounds, while Alavés’ totals are closer together. That comparison makes defensive organization and the transition back into shape useful things to watch, but it does not establish either coach’s tactical plan. The starting formations, player roles, and match tempo will only become clear on the field.

Where can you watch or follow Sevilla vs Alavés?

Broadcast availability depends on the viewer’s market. LaLiga’s Spanish-language Matchday 12 schedule lists “DAZN en abierto” as the operator for Sevilla vs Alavés in Spain. Check DAZN’s own program guide for the exact channel or streaming option and any access requirements. If you are watching from another country, use the country search in LaLiga’s official Where to Watch guide; Spanish rights do not determine availability in other markets.

For live status, official team sheets, and the final score, use the LaLiga match center. Sevilla’s official fixture notice confirms the date, while the club’s training update gives its latest published player information. As this is a pre-match preview, no final score is available yet. After the match, check that the page marks the fixture as complete before relying on its result.
