Colorado Rapids vs. Vancouver Whitecaps: Kickoff, Venue, TV & Matchday Updates
Updated October 24, 2026. Colorado Rapids are scheduled to host Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the 2026 MLS regular season on Saturday, October 24, at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT, UTC−06:00), which is 01:30 UTC on Sunday, October 25. Vancouver’s schedule lists the match at 6:30 p.m. Pacific Time; in British Columbia this is Pacific Time (PCT, UTC−07:00). The two local listings refer to the same kickoff.
MLS and both clubs continue to list this as a scheduled fixture. The match page names Apple TV as a viewing option, and the latest MLS player status report identifies players listed out for each club. This guide separates those confirmed status entries from starting-lineup decisions, which are not established by an availability report.

Coordinated Universal Time

The date changes only when the fixture is expressed in UTC: the match remains Saturday evening at the stadium and in Vancouver, while the UTC clock has passed midnight. Set a calendar reminder using the zone where you plan to watch, or use the UTC line if coordinating across regions.
Why the two time-zone labels differ
Colorado is on MDT on October 24. The National Institute of Standards and Technology lists U.S. daylight saving time in 2026 as running from March 8 until November 1, so the match takes place before Colorado’s clocks return to standard time. Commerce City is therefore six hours behind UTC at kickoff.
British Columbia changed its time standard in March 2026 and now uses Pacific Time year-round at UTC−07:00. The province says “Pacific Time” or “PCT” may be used for the zone and that clocks did not fall back on November 1. Vancouver’s 6:30 p.m. PCT listing is consequently one hour behind Commerce City’s 7:30 p.m. MDT listing. For this match, do not apply the former November switch to Vancouver.
Venue, gates, parking, and tickets
The Rapids host at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, 6000 Victory Way, Commerce City, CO 80022. The club places the stadium near the southwest corner of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge and lists four main vehicle entry and exit points. Follow the club’s parking map and lot directions when approaching; the correct route depends on the lot you use.
The Rapids’ game-day guide says the Park Everything and rideshare lots open at 5:30 p.m. MDT, all stadium gates open at 6:30 p.m., the pregame countdown begins at 7:10 p.m., and kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The club asks fans to be in their seats at least 20 minutes before kickoff. Its parking guidance says home-match parking is free and recommends arriving at least 45 minutes before kickoff to reduce the chance of longer waits or being directed to a farther lot. For this fixture, that recommendation means arriving by about 6:45 p.m. MDT on Saturday.
Single-game tickets are listed through the Rapids’ official ticket page. The club advises fans to buy through the team or venue’s verified ticket channel and warns that tickets from unauthorized third-party sellers may be counterfeit or nonrefundable. Inventory and prices can change, so check the live listing before making the trip.
How to watch or listen
MLS lists Apple TV for the match. Colorado’s preview and game-day information also name Altitude Sports Radio, Tico Sports, the Colorado Rapids app, and ColoradoRapids.com; the game-day guide specifies Altitude Sports Radio 92.5 FM. The Rapids app provides ticket access, match notifications, scores, statistics, highlights, and an interactive stadium map. Treat those app features as match-day support unless the club posts a separate live-video option.
Vancouver’s match preview lists Apple TV and TSN for video coverage, with 730 CKNW for radio. Broadcast availability can depend on your location and subscription, so confirm the fixture in the relevant service before kickoff. For fans at the stadium, Colorado also points to its local bar partners and official social channels for updates and match coverage information.
Player availability and suspensions
MLS’s Matchday 32 player status report, published for Saturday, October 24, lists the following players as out. These are the statuses reported by the league; they do not confirm either club’s starting XI or formation.
Club
Players listed out in the MLS report
Colorado Rapids
Reggie Cannon (leg), Youssef Maziz (leg), Ibrahim Sadiq (leg), and Zack Steffen (shoulder)
Vancouver Whitecaps FC
Sam Adekugbe (hamstring), Kenji Cabrera (foot), Belal Halbouni (knee), Rui Modesto (quadriceps), and Thomas Müller (hamstring)
The MLS disciplinary summary dated October 20 does not list a Rapids or Whitecaps player as suspended for this fixture. It does identify Colorado’s Josh Atencio and Darren Yapi, and Vancouver’s Tristan Blackmon, Andrés Cubas, and Édier Ocampo as one caution away from a suspension or fine. That warning is not itself a suspension. Check the official match roster and lineup release close to kickoff for final participation information.
Match context and officials
Colorado’s club preview describes this as its penultimate home match of the 2026 regular season. Before the weekend, the Rapids were listed at 11-13-6 with 39 points and ninth in the Western Conference; Vancouver was 16-7-7 with 55 points and first in the West. Colorado’s most recent result was a 0-0 road draw with Portland on October 17, while Vancouver’s preview notes its recent comeback win at Austin. These standings and form notes are pregame context, not a prediction or a match result.
Professional Referee Organization’s Matchday 32 assignment names Jair Marrufo as referee, with Rhett Hammil and Fernando Fierro as assistant referees, Marcos DeOliveira as fourth official, and Jose Carlos Rivero as VAR. The published assignment is the official crew listing; it does not imply any change to the scheduled kickoff.
