FC Cincinnati vs. Philadelphia Union: October 31 Kickoff, TV and Matchday Guide

FC Cincinnati hosts Philadelphia Union on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in Cincinnati, Ohio (EDT, UTC−04:00), equivalent to 18:00 UTC. The 2026 MLS regular-season game is scheduled for TQL Stadium, 1501 Central Parkway, Cincinnati. FC Cincinnati’s official kickoff announcement, current ticket listing and the stadium’s event calendar agree on that time. Although some fixture records have circulated with a 22:00 UTC entry, that time does not match the club’s confirmed 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time start.

For fans making plans, the most important questions are whether the kickoff is correct in their time zone, how to watch legally, when the starting lineups become official and what is required to enter TQL Stadium. This preview separates confirmed details from information that can change before matchday. The sources were checked October 29, 2026.

When and where is FC Cincinnati vs. Philadelphia Union?

The FC Cincinnati kickoff confirmation explicitly places the Halloween game against Philadelphia at 2:00 p.m. ET. The TQL Stadium event calendar independently shows the same October 31 start. An older season schedule originally left the time to be determined; the later announcement resolves that uncertainty.

Cincinnati is still observing Eastern Daylight Time on October 31. The switch to Eastern Standard Time occurs the next day, November 1, 2026. Consequently, 2:00 p.m. EDT is 18:00 UTC, not 19:00 or 22:00 UTC. If a calendar or search result gives a conflicting time, use the club’s updated kickoff notice and check the match page again before traveling.

How can you watch the game?

Apple TV is the confirmed streaming route. Major League Soccer says all 2026 regular-season matches are included with an Apple TV subscription, with no separate MLS Season Pass purchase required. That differs from the standalone MLS Season Pass model used in prior seasons. The league describes its coverage as available in more than 100 countries and regions, without local blackouts for the included games.

Start with the MLS official viewing guide or Apple’s MLS viewing instructions. An Apple TV subscription can be accessed through supported phones, computers, smart TVs and web browsers; Apple hardware is not necessarily required. Subscription terms and prices vary by country, promotional eligibility and billing period, so confirm the terms displayed in your own account before purchasing.

MLS has also announced that a selection of 2026 games will appear on traditional television outlets in the United States and Canada. However, the league-wide agreement does not by itself confirm a particular FOX, FS1, TSN or RDS channel for this Cincinnati–Philadelphia game. Do not assume an additional television simulcast without a match-specific broadcaster listing. Viewers who only need the score can follow official match updates through official MLS score updates or the participating clubs' official channels.

Have the starting lineups or injury absences been confirmed?

No final starting XI is confirmed in the official material checked for this preview. The game is still ahead, and FC Cincinnati also has a scheduled away meeting with Inter Miami CF on Wednesday, October 28, before returning home for the Philadelphia match. That sequence can affect rest, rotation and late fitness assessments, but it does not establish which players will be available on Saturday.

For reliable updates, consult FC Cincinnati’s official website, Philadelphia Union’s official website and the MLS match center near kickoff. Separate three kinds of information: an officially reported injury or suspension, a coach’s assessment of possible availability, and the confirmed starting lineup. A player appearing in practice coverage is not the same as being named to start.

In tactical terms, the match will reward attention to how Cincinnati advances the ball through midfield and how Philadelphia responds when possession changes. Watch the teams' defensive spacing, the opportunities created from wide positions and the effect of substitutions as the game develops. Those are questions to assess once the teams are announced, not claims about a predetermined formation or a likely winner.

Can you buy tickets for the Halloween home game?

The club lists the October 31 match on its official single-match ticket page, with purchase and premium hospitality options. Its theme-night calendar identifies the Philadelphia Union match as the Halloween event. These pages confirm that ticket sales are being promoted; they do not guarantee that any particular seat category, quantity or price remains available at the moment you open the checkout.

For a straightforward stadium visit, compare regular admission seats by section and final checkout total. For a group or a supporter who wants an enhanced experience, look at the specific hospitality benefits rather than assuming a premium package is simply a better seat. FC Cincinnati also advertises promotional ticket packs for selected fixtures; eligibility, price and availability should be confirmed on the club's actual checkout page before treating an offer as applicable to this match.

The club has separately advertised a Halloween-themed Final Whistle hospitality experience for this fixture. Its advertised package includes field-level hospitality and a match ticket, with a 21-and-over requirement and an indicated price of $275 per guest when checked. This is not the general-admission ticket price and should not be used as a benchmark for ordinary seats. Event details and remaining inventory are subject to change.

What should you know before entering TQL Stadium?

TQL Stadium is in Cincinnati’s West End at 1501 Central Parkway. The club's stadium guide says that, unless otherwise stated, gates normally open 90 minutes before FC Cincinnati MLS home games. For a 2:00 p.m. EDT kickoff, that would mean approximately 12:30 p.m. EDT (16:30 UTC) on October 31. This is an expected opening based on the standard policy, not a separately confirmed match-specific gate announcement.

The stadium uses a clear-bag policy. According to the same guide, an accepted clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag may measure no more than 12 by 6 by 12 inches; a one-gallon resealable clear freezer bag is another permitted option. An additional small clutch no larger than 6 by 9 inches is allowed. Medically necessary items are subject to inspection and stadium approval. Security screening applies at entrances, so leaving unnecessary bags behind can make entry simpler.

TQL Stadium is also cash-free. Visitors should arrange a supported electronic payment method or review the venue's reverse-ATM options if carrying only cash. Those facilities can be relevant for food and other purchases inside the building, but they do not replace a valid ticket.

How should you plan parking and arrival?

Drivers should check the FC Cincinnati parking instructions before leaving. Some garages near TQL Stadium are reserved for holders of parking passes and do not offer cash parking on matchdays. The club separately lists downtown garages for people without passes, while warning that special-event rates may apply.

There are different practical trade-offs. A reserved pass offers more predictable garage access but requires the correct entrance and an eligible pass. An open public garage provides more flexibility, but price, walking distance and remaining spaces can vary. Because a large crowd may leave at roughly the same time, a slightly longer walk can sometimes make the departure route simpler; the exact advantage depends on road controls and the route home.

For visitors with limited mobility, the club identifies the Town Center Garage as an ADA parking facility and provides information on accessible entrance lines and assistance through the stadium guide. Accessible parking and seating arrangements should be verified directly for the individual visit instead of inferred from the existence of an accessible facility.

What should you check on matchday?

• Kickoff: Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Cincinnati EDT (UTC−04:00), or 18:00 UTC.
• Venue: TQL Stadium, not Philadelphia’s home ground.
• Viewing: Confirm Apple TV access and regional subscription terms; do not assume an extra linear-TV listing.
• Lineups: Check the clubs and MLS close to kickoff rather than relying on projected elevens.
• Tickets: Use the club’s official channels and review prices, seating, and any age restrictions.
• Entry: Recheck the gate time, bag rules, accessible arrangements and parking instructions.

Verification note — October 29, 2026: The date, home team, venue and 2:00 p.m. EDT kickoff are supported by FC Cincinnati and TQL Stadium. Apple TV access follows the league's published 2026 media arrangement. Exact starting lineups, individual matchday absences, additional television simulcasts and day-of-event inventory were not established by the sources checked and should not be presented as confirmed.
