Tottenham Hotspur vs Coventry City: Kickoff, TV and Match Preview

The key update for Tottenham Hotspur vs Coventry City is the kickoff change: Tottenham’s Premier League home fixture has moved from Saturday, October 17, to Monday, October 19, 2026, for live television coverage. The latest official listings show an 8:00 p.m. kickoff at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. That is 7:00 p.m. UTC. Sky Sports is listed as the UK broadcaster.

This is a pre-match fixture guide. The match has not kicked off, so confirmed starting lineups and a final score are not available yet. Check the clubs’ match centers again closer to kickoff for the starting lineups, live updates, and result.

Tottenham vs Coventry fixture details

The Premier League’s official match page identifies the fixture, while Tottenham’s match center lists Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. On October 19, London is on British Summer Time: the UK clocks do not return to Greenwich Mean Time until October 25. That is why the local kickoff is UTC+01:00 rather than UTC. The UK government clock-change calendar confirms the 2026 change date.

Why Tottenham’s home game moved to Monday

The original Premier League schedule placed the match on Saturday, October 17. After the October broadcast selections, Tottenham announced that the Coventry fixture would move to Monday, October 19, with an 8:00 p.m. UK kickoff and Sky Sports coverage. Fans planning travel or watching from home should use the revised date rather than the original weekend listing.

The club’s fixture-change announcement names Coventry City as the home opponent and confirms the new date, time, and broadcaster. The Premier League’s 2026/27 fixture list also shows Tottenham Hotspur vs Coventry City on Monday, October 19, at 20:00 UK time. Fixture dates can still be amended, so supporters should recheck official club guidance before setting out.

Recent form before kickoff

The latest league results shown in Sky Sports’ match center give each side a recent reference point. Tottenham drew 1–1 away to Manchester United on October 10. Coventry followed with a 4–1 home win over Newcastle United on October 12. Those results set up an interesting meeting between a Spurs side coming off an away draw and a Coventry team arriving after a high-scoring league win.

One result does not determine the next match, and it is too early to turn those scorelines into a prediction. The practical questions for Monday are whether Tottenham can make home possession count and whether Coventry can carry the confidence of its Newcastle performance into a challenging away fixture. The confirmed team selections will offer the clearest indication of each manager’s approach.

Sky’s match page carries the fixture details and recent-form listings. Tottenham’s official match center also provides sections for overview, commentary, lineups, head-to-head information, and statistics.

Lineups, live coverage, and result status

There is no confirmed starting XI to report before the teams announce their selections. The official Tottenham match center has a lineups section for the match; check it nearer kickoff rather than relying on predicted lineups. The page can also be used to follow official match information and updates.

No final result exists before the scheduled start. If a fixture page displays “0–0” before kickoff, treat it as a pre-match placeholder unless the page clearly marks the match as live or complete. After full time, use the official Premier League match page or the club and broadcaster match centers to confirm the score and key match statistics.

How to watch Tottenham vs Coventry

Sky Sports is the listed broadcaster for viewers in the United Kingdom. Sky’s fixture listing identifies this game for Sky Sports Premier League, and Tottenham’s broadcast update names Sky Sports as the reason for the revised Monday slot. Check the current Sky Sports schedule and your subscription package for the channel and live-stream options.

Broadcast rights differ by territory. Viewers outside the UK should check the Premier League’s official broadcaster information or a licensed local rights holder; a UK Sky listing does not guarantee that the same service is available elsewhere. To avoid a time-zone mix-up, use Monday, October 19, at 8:00 p.m. BST (UTC+01:00) in London, or 7:00 p.m. UTC.

What to check next

• Use the revised Monday date, October 19, rather than the original Saturday fixture date.

• Check Sky Sports for UK broadcast details and the official match center for team news.
