When does Real Sociedad vs. Rayo Vallecano kick off?

LaLiga lists the match for Sunday, November 8, at 16:15 in Spain. The league’s English Matchday 12 schedule lists 15:15 UTC. On the event date, mainland Spain uses Central European Time, UTC+01:00, so the confirmed local time is 4:15 p.m. CET. The UTC conversion is 3:15 p.m. UTC on Nov. 8; the date does not change.

These are match kickoff times, not stadium-gate or broadcast start times. Real Sociedad’s ticket information says gates open one hour before kickoff. Check the ticket and match pages again before traveling in case the organizer changes the schedule.

Where will the match be played?

The fixture is at Anoeta, also identified by the club as Estadio de Anoeta, in Donostia / San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa. The club’s ticket information gives the stadium address as Anoeta Pasealekua 1, 20014 Donostia / San Sebastián. Real Sociedad’s fixture listing and LaLiga’s match center both identify Anoeta as the venue.

For a stadium visit, use the club’s official directions and access information rather than relying only on a map pin. The club says the gates open one hour before kickoff and the Anoeta ticket office opens two hours before kickoff. Away supporters should follow the visiting-club ticket instructions; the Real Sociedad ticket FAQ directs visiting fans to purchase through their own club for the designated away section.

What do the standings and recent results say?

LaLiga’s match center lists Real Sociedad in fifth place with 19 points and Rayo Vallecano in 12th with 12 points after 11 league matches each. Its team comparison shows Real Sociedad with 20 goals scored and 20 conceded, while Rayo have scored 15 and conceded 20. That is a five-goal difference in scoring output, with the same goals-against total; it describes the season snapshot, not a prediction for this match.

The most recent completed league results provide another useful point of comparison. Rayo beat Celta 3-0 on Oct. 31. Real Sociedad then lost 2-1 away to Athletic Club in the Basque derby on Nov. 1. Both scores are confirmed in LaLiga’s Matchday 11 results.

For the preview, the central question is whether Real Sociedad can turn its higher season goal total and home venue into chances after the derby defeat, and whether Rayo can carry its latest attacking performance into an away fixture. Those are matchday storylines, not confirmed tactical plans. Official starting lineups and late availability news should be checked close to kickoff; no unverified injury or selection claims are included here.

Are tickets available, and where should fans buy them?

Real Sociedad’s official ticket page for this match listed seats starting at €30 when checked on Nov. 5. The page showed a mix of available and sold-out sections, so a specific seat or price may no longer be available by the time you open it. Check the live seating map and final price on the club’s official Real Sociedad ticket portal before paying.

The club advises supporters not to use unofficial resale channels because tickets may be invalid or duplicated. Everyone entering Anoeta, including children, needs a valid ticket. Ticket-office availability on matchday is not guaranteed, so buying through the official portal in advance is the safest way to confirm a seat.

How can fans watch or follow the match?

LaLiga broadcast rights vary by country. Its official Where to Watch LaLiga page has a country search for the 2026/27 season. Select the country where you will watch and confirm the operator’s schedule; there is no single broadcaster that applies to every market.

For live status, lineups and the final score, use the official LaLiga match center or Real Sociedad’s official fixture page. As of this update, the league still labels the fixture as scheduled, and no result is available. The league recommends checking its schedule and official ticket channels for changes.

What should supporters watch for next?

The confirmed information is the date, kickoff, venue and current ticket listing. The next meaningful updates are expected to be official squad availability, starting lineups and any schedule notice from LaLiga or Real Sociedad. Because the kickoff is on Sunday, Nov. 8, check those official channels again on matchday. If the fixture is completed as scheduled, the league match center will provide the result and match statistics; until then, a score or outcome would be premature.
