Converting euros to Riot Points is a bundle purchase, not a currency exchange. How euro-to-RP pricing works
Riot Points (RP) are sold in fixed bundles. You cannot enter any euro amount and receive a mathematically proportional number of points, and there is no single exchange rate that applies to every League account. A euro-denominated account may show a different set of prices or payment options from an account in another region or currency.
Older price charts can be misleading. Riot’s official Europe table from 2022 listed 1,380 RP for €10.99 and 2,800 RP for €21.99. Riot later announced region-specific price adjustments and said the percentage change could vary by bundle and payment method. Treat that 2022 table as historical context, not a guaranteed 2026 price list; check the live RP purchase screen before deciding what to buy. If you want to compare package value, divide the RP amount by the euro price: RP per euro = RP in the package ÷ package price in euros. For example, the historical 1,380 RP / €10.99 package works out to about 125.6 RP per euro. Use the values currently shown in your client for the same calculation; this ratio compares bundles, but it is not a cash exchange rate.
How to buy Riot Points with euros
1. Sign in to the correct League account
Launch the League of Legends PC client and check the Riot account you intend to use. RP is credited to the account that completes the purchase. This guide covers the PC client; mobile games such as Wild Rift use a different currency and purchase flow.
2. Open the RP purchase screen
Choose Store in the client, then open Purchase RP. If you do not see euro pricing, confirm that you are signed in to the right account and review the account’s region settings before paying.
3. Compare the EUR bundles
Read both figures on each package card: its euro price and the RP total. Pick a bundle that fits your budget and planned purchase. Do not choose a package based on an old screenshot or a third-party “RP converter”; those may describe another region, an older price, or a different payment route.
4. Select an available payment method and review
The methods shown depend on the account’s region. The client may offer card payment, PayPal, Paysafecard, prepaid codes, or local options, but only the choices displayed for your account are available. Before confirming, check the selected bundle, final euro total, and account. If you are using a prepaid card, make sure it is intended for the correct region and game.
5. Confirm the transaction and check your balance
Complete the payment through the option you selected, then return to the client and check the RP balance. Keep any confirmation email, order reference, and prepaid-card receipt until the purchase is visible. If the payment is still pending, avoid submitting the same purchase repeatedly; a second attempt could create a duplicate order.
Using a prepaid card or Riot code
A euro gift card or prepaid RP code is not the same as a normal card or PayPal purchase. Check the product packaging and the account region before buying: Riot says cash codes are region-specific, and some code types are limited to PC games. What to do if a purchase fails
- Your payment is declined: Check that the payment details are correct and that your provider permits the transaction. Try another method only if it appears in the client for your region.
- A failed purchase appears on your card statement: Riot says this can be a pending authorization rather than a completed charge; it should disappear after a few days. If it remains, contact Riot Support with the transaction details.
- You were charged but received no RP: Check the purchase confirmation and account, then submit a support ticket rather than buying the same bundle again. Riot’s missing-RP guidance distinguishes pending charges from completed purchases that need support.
- A prepaid code is rejected: Recheck the characters, region, and game. If the seller did not activate a physical card at checkout, contact that retailer with the receipt.

There is no guaranteed answer for every account. The store sells set bundles, and the exact euro price and RP total depend on the offers shown in your account. Riot’s historical Europe table, for example, priced a 1,380 RP bundle at €10.99 rather than exactly €10; do not assume that older figure is your current offer.
Can I buy an exact amount of RP?
No custom amount is entered during checkout. Choose one of the bundles the League client displays, or use an eligible prepaid code whose region matches your account.
Should I use a currency converter website?
Use one only to do arithmetic on a price you already see. It cannot determine the live Riot offer for your account. The client’s package amount and checkout total are the useful figures when converting euros to RP.
