1. Check the active display and resolution in Windows

Before changing game settings, confirm that Windows recognizes the monitor you actually play on. This matters on desktops with multiple monitors and laptops connected to a dock, TV, or external display.

3. Under Display resolution, choose the option marked Recommended.

Replace those numbers with the resolution supported by your display. For Steam, review the game’s Properties > General > Launch Options.
